About

MSU Texas, also known as Midwestern State University, is the only public liberal arts college in the state of Texas and is the newest member of the Texas Tech University System. Founded in 1922, we have a rich history and a bright future with international students playing an integral role in the university’s identity. Almost 10% of the student body population is from outside of the US and those students appreciate the small class size and individualized attention they receive from instructions in the highly accredited Business programs, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering, Health Sciences (Nursing), Biology and Geosciences. Midwestern State University is known for its affordability, great location not too far from booming Dallas, Texas and mild weather with a welcoming city. The Global Education Office is dedicated to the success of international students and is available to support those students through every step of the application and immigration process. International student organizations are thriving on campus and a great way to network for current and future academic and professional success.
